Muhammad Aslam Bhootani received his early education from his native village than he moved to Hyderabad for higher education. In Hyderabad, he passed his Secondary School Certificate. He did his graduation from the Karachi University. He had many government jobs, including Police chief, Anti-Narcotics Force and Federal Investigation Agency. In 2002, Mir Bhootani won from his native district Lasbella candidate. He served for Deputy Speaker of Balochistan Assembly for five years. On 8 April 2008, he became of Speaker Balochistan Assembly.
